Real Skateboards was founded in 1991 in San Francisco by pro skaters Tommy Guerrero and Jim Thiebaud with support from Fausto Vitello, the co-founder of Thrasher Magazine. Built on years of experience in the skate industry, Real remains one of the most respected brands in skateboarding.
Real offers five board constructions to suit different styles. Heavyweights use thicker cross grain layers for extra strength and pop. The Full Shape has a wider nose and smaller tail for flick and control. Low Pro II features a lower center of gravity for faster pop and added durability. R1 Construction uses equal pressure molding for consistent shape and lasting concave. The newest Slick boards have a ribbed bottom ply that slides easily on rough surfaces with little or no wax.
With top-tier decks, apparel, and a strong team, Real Skateboards continues to deliver quality made for skaters by skaters.
