Madrid

Madrid Skateboards started in 1976 as Jerry Madrid, a man who previously owned a small surfboard company in Norwalk, California, started to build skateboards. Madrid became the first company to add concave to their skateboard decks, allowing for more control of the board. The activity of skateboarding itself had become more and more popular around this time, which allowed Madrid to become mainstream. Even the board that Marty McFly rode in Back to the Future was a Madrid skateboard! Jerry Madrid eventually worked with many companies such as, Santa Cruz, Sims, and Alva; creating quality decks and molds for these well-known companies.

Here at Boardparadise, we sell many Madrid skateboard decks. We have not only shaped decks, like ones you would find in the 70s-80s, but we also have modern popsicle shaped decks as well! Some decks you find may even be reissues of decks they made in the past! Shop Madrid Skateboards here at Boardparadise.com today!
