DGK

DGK was started in the early 2000s by pro skater, Stevie Williams. Williams and his crew were called "Dirty Ghetto Kids" by other skaters at Love Park in Philly. Rather than letting it be an insult, Williams embraced the name and decided to start his own company called DGK, or Dirty Ghetto Kids.

Williams reframed it — "I wanted all the kids out there that are going through adversity and struggle to know that there's someone out there that sees them and knows what they're going through. DGK is for them, taking a negative and turning it to a positive."

DGK has turned into one of the biggest names in skateboarding and is still going strong to this day. Here at Boardparadise, we sell many DGK products such as decks, complete skateboards and clothing. Shop DGK at  Boardparadise.com today!
