The AsymWrap heelhoop features three connection points to the base allowing for a surfy ride, plenty of board feel, without sacrificing tweak or edge-to-edge response. The all-new Katana AW Pro FASE® bindings are the carbon-filled, all-mountain optimizers trusted by Ståle Sandbech for high-octane riding whether in the backcountry or lapping the Whistler parks. With the revolutionary speed of the FASE® Fast Entry System and carbon-filled baseplates on the Katana binding platform, these bindings are pure reactive power. Designed for riders who want a powerful, nimble binding for high-performance riding, the Katana AW Pro FASE® are ready to rumble. *Please note* During production for the 2627 run of bindings, we had the opportunity to update these highbacks to a solid-state design. This has always been the plan as we continue to develop the future of the Katana binding family, but this means some of these bindings will feature a new solid state highback design. Both are fully intentional, fully engineered and fully ready to ride. Technology OmniFlex Ankle Strap The next generation of AuxTech® powered connected comfort comes in the form of our most responsive ankle straps. A solid state overmolded design engages with a TPU spine to perfectly blend responsive torsional flex and edge to edge power. If you ride hard, there's always a chance something could wear out or break. But don't worry - we've got you covered. Bindings with the "Never Miss a Day" feature come with a backup parts kit, including extra ladders, screws, and washers, so you can keep riding while sorting out replacements. C Baseplate 30% Carbon. A powerful and hyper response boost of carbon for hard-charging bindings. G Highback Highback Materials: 15% Glass 85% Nylon Pivotmount A Rome exclusive innovation, PivotMounts allow you to adjust the position of the ankle strap on your boot with 4 different locations per side of the strap. The higher the strap sits on your boot, the more locked-in and powerful the feel, the lower the strap sits on the boot, the more playful and surfier ride. AuxTech® Hinged patterns for next level connected-comfort. A Rome first innovation, AuxTech® is a game changing pattern we use in our ankle and toe straps. Auxetic Patterns are geometric patterns that become thicker perpendicularly when stretched. Essentially a network of tiny hinges that expand evenly when pressure is applied. Best in the game surface area pressure distribution and connected comfort, that’s AuxTech®.
