Verdy, the Tokyo-based graphic artist behind streetwear brands Girls Don't Cry and Wasted Youth, credits his history and love of skateboarding as foundational to his creative work. When we asked him to be part of this year's Skate Shop Day release, he jumped in with both feet. This release marks Verdy's first collaboration available only at select skate shops. Ishod and Verdy have followed each other's work for years. Last year, they did a limited Real deck for GoodTimes Skate Shop in Osaka that sold out immediately. That release started conversations about doing something bigger that would support shops globally — this is it. All boards feature mother of pearl white ink and SSD 2026 Real x Verdy top graphics.
