Quasi Skateboards, over a decade of Mother.

Seemingly; apparantly, but not really. Whatever you want it to be.

What do you do when the company you ride for gets torched by a private equity firm and sold for parts? You make your own and call it something cryptic, instill a group of riders who are creative and innovative each in their own right and outperform the vulture capitalist that liquidated your original company. In essence that is precisely what quasi skateboards did in the 2010's.

Bold graphics with a heavy influece in Abstract Expressionism, Photorealism, and Contemporary Art. Decks are a solid contruction, either pressed by BBS or PS-stix, the standard 7-ply among the skateboarding industry but with a unique shape and a steeper nose. The decks are high quality and have a really snappy pop. The shovel-nosed shape inspires confidence when kickflipping down gaps and the wood is lightweight yet durable. Some decks are fully dipped & they come with a pinup newspaper with cool artwork, & sticker. They bring the wheelbase in for responsiveness and have a short snappy tail. These boards are great for street skating or anything that one would want to throw at them.

The current team is expansive and polarizing. Jake Johnson, Gilbert Crockett, Tyler Bledsoe, Dick Rizzo, Justin Henry, Josh Wilson, Bobby Dekeyzer, Dane Barker, Jon Rowe, Jason Nam, Cooper Qua & recently Dylan Jaeb.

Bob has been my favorite rider for some time, his mix of speed, power, and technical ability on any crusty spot has cemented the brand as one of my go to's.
