Started in 2007 by George Arsenate, Catch Surf has taken off from its roots as a perceived “gimmick” company to a full fledged member of the surfboard brand diaspora.
Starting with foam surfboards dubbed “The Beater”, Catch Surf carved out their niche by allowing surfers to catch some waves, even on the busiest of days on the beach. By setting records in professional surfing and constantly improving their manufacturing processes, Arsenate stays at the top of his game which is reflected by Catch Surf's success in the industry. Jamie O’Brien, CS’s lead representative, proved that soft boards had a place in the pro scene when he placed first in his heat in Pipe Masters using The LogXJamie O’Brien Pro. Jamie O’Brien, as an outlandishly good surfer, is the perfect rep for an outlandishly good surf brand. After making their place in the Surf scene, Catch Surf has slowly but surely been expanding their product range into apparel and other surf accessories, forever cementing itself as one of the big dog in the surf community.
