They came up with the name "Girl" from someone telling Rick Howard that he "skated like a girl," which they found funny and so they ran with it, embracing the name. Now Girl Skateboards is a very popular brand, having decks, clothing, and even wheels.
Known for having a strong hold on the 90s skate scene, Girl Skateboards is still prevalent today, selling merchandise with their iconic Girl logo. Girl Skateboards is also known for making some of the most influential skate videos ever. They have been in the game for thirty years, and are going strong!
