Three years ago in New York City, Chris Milic and Jesse Alba, son of skate legend Steve Alba, started Frog Skateboards. Chris began as a rollerblader before discovering his love for shaped decks and eventually rode for Welcome Skateboards, where he met Jesse. After leaving Welcome, they launched Frog.
The brand began with a simple frog sketch by Chris and grew from local T-shirts to a full line of decks and apparel. Inspired by retro games and playful, imperfect art, Frog focuses on creativity and authenticity. Team riders often create their own graphics, keeping the brand fresh and personal.
Frog has since teamed up with Nike SB and Noah and released standout videos like Bossa Nova. Now available at Board Paradise in Greensboro, North Carolina, and online.
