The Killing Floor
Founded in Portland, Oregon by artist and skater John Vitale, The Killing Floor makes decks for people who see skating as an art form first and a sport second. Named after Howlin' Wolf's classic blues track, the brand channels the same spirit — raw, soulful, and unwilling to play it safe.
Every deck starts as a piece of original artwork, hand-designed by Vitale himself. Psychedelic color, surreal imagery, and abstract composition turn each board into something you'd want on your wall as much as under your feet — while 7-ply maple construction and a standard popsicle shape keep them built for real riding, not just display.
