You know Krux, Independent, and Thunder. Now meet Ace Trucks. Founded in 2007 by Joey Tershay and Steve Ruge in Los Angeles, Ace was inspired by the Independent Stage III and quickly earned respect for its clean design and solid performance.
Ace Trucks feature a minimal silhouette with a nearly end-to-end cylindrical hanger that tapers at the axle. This reduces friction and wear on your bearings and wheels. The low-set kingpin helps prevent hang-ups, making grinds smoother and less frustrating.
Stock bushings come in 86A on the bottom and 91A on top, giving you a balanced, responsive carve and turn. Each truck is stamped with a number like 33, 44, 55, or 66. For example, the Ace 44 has a 5.75-inch hanger and fits decks from 8.125 to 8.5 inches. The Ace 66 covers those bigger setups with a 6.75-inch hanger and 9.35-inch axle.
Ace may not be the lightest option out there, but they’re durable, responsive, and built to grind. If you’re after titanium or hollow options, check Thunder or Independent. But if you want a truck that blends style, strength, and serious function, Ace is ready to ride.
